Years of Gold

Years of gold refers to every good year we have lived. You may be 10 years old, 20 years old, 30 years old, 40 years old, 50 years old, 60 years old, 70 years old and maybe even 80 years old. This blog is for you and I, for every one of us must have had some years of gold, years we want to remember. Years we want to tell people about. This blog is to provide the opportunity for you to share with everyone life’s rewards and joys.

We hope to bridge the gap among the different generations, such as the Baby Boomers, the Generation X and the Generation Y or sometimes referred to as the Net Generation. Topics of interest will be discussed. The young will bring a new insight into various aspects of life, while the old can possibly forewarn them of impending problems.

How does one cope with too much homework or too much work? How do we cope with life in areas of health, wealth, getting around, coping with no children and later coping with grandchildren? Health issues include maintaining as well as improving it. Where can we get cheap medical treatment? Where can we get complimentary meals or discounted meals? We can read about various financial plans. We can also provide advice to our children and children’s children. We talk about stuff that everyone can talk about. This is where one can reminisce past glories and future expectations.

There will be a section in which you can share all those e-mail messages that have inspired you and which you think everyone would like to read. Some of you may hate them, while some enjoy reading them. Each one of us is different. Here we appreciate differences, because differences and diversity creates new possibilities.

Here we understand that everything in life is like the coin. It has two sides. Our brain has two sides. So does our body. The talkative girl marries the quiet guy. The fat man dates a thin girl. The young admire the old and vice versa. We hope that if there are any one-sided individual reading this blog pages, they would soon understand the other view.

So everyone, this blog site is for you to enjoy browsing through and making comments, adding information, asking questions. We will help you as much as we can. We ask of you not to raise any issue on politics, race or religion. There are already many other places to discuss them. We ask you to respect the diverse points of views expressed. Correct us when we are wrong, but do not shoot us down. We are all only human.
