Years of Gold

I often wonder how my kids would have been raised if I had just read or seen these wonderful Powerpoint slides or seen such wonderful advice on many current websites. Alas we only had books to follow then and being an avid reader, that was all I did. My children wouldn't have been called 'book-kids'. Yes, they were called 'book-kids' as I was a follower of Dr. Spock's books on raising children. Now would you have liked them to web-kids instead? That is, if I had followed what's on the web. But I have absolutely no regrets about the way my kids were brought and how they have grown up.

Lest we forget, parenting is an age-old activity. It is probably the same 150 years ago as the attached Powerpoint slide show. This parenting tip was made by Mrs. A. Bell in 1853. It was made into a Powerpoint slide-show, by a group called, Tommy's Window.
